The library opened its doors to the public in the year 1994 and befittingly it was named in honour of the major principal sponsor the BEIT TRUST FOUNDATION. The library is open to the public from Tuesday to Friday from 0900hrs to 1700hrs.
The programme aims to empower artists to be a mouth piece for the people and enable women’s and young people’s participation in shaping their destiny and future Zimbabwe, the programme would like to increase awareness and appreciation of art to spread across to rural areas and make known the fact that art knows no boundaries.
The studios add an element of uniqueness to the Gallery as one finds the artist at work during working hours. Our artists cover engravers, batiks, sculptors, painters and literary arts.
